Meet our Team
One of the things that makes the Vegetable Man so special is our amazing team. We have the hardest working, most knowledgable produce and Christmas tree people in the business! Below are the full time employees that make our company shine but we also hire many exceptional people to work seasonally with us during our produce and Christmas tree seasons.
Taylor Moline - Wholesale & Retail
Taylor began working seasonally for the Vegetable Man in 2018 at our Christmas Tree lots. In 2021 he was ready for a career change and came to work for us full time. Taylor wears many hats at The Vegetable Man and his hard work and dedication is evident in everything he does.
Ryan Couch - Co-Owner
Ryan has been in the Christmas tree and produce business for nearly 30 years. HIs focus is on building relationships with farmers and suppliers all over the NW. He can often be found on the road somewhere between Bend and fertile growing areas all over Oregon and Washington. In addition to helping oversee our retail operation Ryan manages our wholesale business called Northwest Produce.
Andrea Couch - Co-Owner
Andrea grew up in the produce business. Her earliest memories are working alongside her dad at our first produce stand on Greenwood in the 1980s.. Andrea wears many hats at the Vegetable Man. She oversees all the behind the scenes administrative work, runs our Saturday Farmer's Market at NW Crossing and she can be found running the front end of the produce market 3-4 days a week.

Carson Couch - Manager
Carson has grown up in the produce business. Being the son of Ryan and Andrea left him very little choice. Carson is a graduate of Baker Web Academy in Bend. In 2024 Carson decided to continue working for the family business and has taken on the role of managing the retail fruit stand. Additionally he manages one of our Christmas tree lots.
Ben Mieirs - Produce Clerk
Ben is a long time family friend. In 2023 he moved back to Bend to be closer to family. Needing some temporary work he worked part time that Christmas Tree season and has been with us ever since. He even met his now fiancee at the produce stand and they are planning a wedding for 2026! Ben has been a wonderful addition to our team.
